On Thursday, December 13, the Walt Disney Pavilion of the Florida Hospital for Children in Orlando was host to a visit from Orlando Magic Players Hedo Turkoglu, Glen Davis, and Kyle O’Quinn, who delivered gifts, signed autographs, and played games with the children who were at the hospital recovering from various illnesses and conditions at this time of year.

They were joined by their team mascot STUFF and Ambassadors from the Community – Bo Outlaw and Nick Anderson. The team no doubt used flyer printing and poster printing throughout the hospital prior to the visit so that the children could be prepared for the team members.

According to Davis, he feels that it is important to be able to help children during this time of year. Children immediately found him cheerful and full of charisma, which helped to uplift their spirits. Turkoglu said that he feels the same as it is a way of giving back to the fans and community member who support him and the team. He hopes that the team’s visit can bring a smile to their faces, a spark to their eyes, and make their day a happier one.

Even though O’Quinn is in his first year of play for the team, he has already been very influential in the community and was very happy to be able to boost the spirit of the children at the hospital during the holiday season.

The Magic has other events planned for the holiday season as part of its participation in the community.
