Florida film festival begins next week

April 2, 2014 by

Beginning this weekend, the Florida Film Festival will be held for the 23rd year in theatres and venues in the Orlando area. No doubt, Enzian, which is presenting the festival, is using flyer printing and other printing services to provide information about the 170 films and other events.

Envian is the full-time non-profit organization of Central Florida that presents alternative cinema with the goal of entertaining, educating, inspiring, and connecting the community through film.

Highlighting the Festival will be three special guests: Susan Sarandon, Paul Sorvino, and Giancarlo Esposito. On April 11, there will be a screening in the evening of Sarandon’s film, ‘Dead Man Walking’, for which she was given an Academy Award in 1995. She will be available after the screening for a question-and-answer session.

Starting at 11:00 am on April 12, there will be a screening of ‘Goodfellas’, after which Sorvino will be holding a question-and-answer session. He will also be attending the screening of the new film, ‘Last I Heard’, a narrative competition feature, on April 11 at 4:45 pm.

Before all of that, there will be a screening of the Spike Lee film ‘Do the Right Thing’ this Sunday, in which Giancarlo Esposito appeared as ‘Buggin’ Out’. He will also be doing a question-and-answer session after the film.

The event kicks off this Friday, April 4, and runs for 10 days
