Family golf festival to be hosted by Marriott
July 20, 2012 by Mark
On the morning of Saturday, July 28, the Faldo Golf Institute and the Grande Pines Golf Club, both operated by the Marriott Corporation, will be hosting the annual Family Golf Festival at the Faldo Golf Institute in Orlando. Marriott is no doubt using poster printing and flyer printing to announce the event to families in the local area so that golfers of all abilities and ages can participate with their family members in a day that enables them to experience what family togetherness means on the golf course.
During the festival, children and their parents are encouraged to learn how to play golf together. After a morning of fun-filled activities, the afternoon entertainments feature free golf instruction, clinics, family golf programs, interactive golf games, and chances to win a variety of prizes. For those who attend the event in the morning, there will be free golf at the Faldo Golf Institute and the Grande Pines Golf Club, depending on availability.
More information on the Family Golf Festival can be obtained by calling the Faldo Golf Institute or the Grande Pines Golf Club. A minimum of two days is required to book tee times in the afternoon. The event is open to Marriott guests as well as the general public.
The Marriott Corporation holds the Family Golf Festival as a way to promote family golf. The company started Kids Golf 4-Free in 2006, which was a first-of-its-kind program to enable children under the age of 15 to play golf for free after 3:00 pm, as long as they are accompanied by a full-paying adult.
