West Orange Chamber to honor local businesses

January 18, 2014 by

The Big Orange Awards, presented by the West Orange Chamber of Commerce, are taking place in Ocoee this February. This year’s theme is “Facilitating Opportunity.”

Nominations for Business of the Year (big and small) recently closed and the winners will be announced during the awards gala. Any member could nominate a peer or their own business. In order to qualify, a business member had to have been a Chamber member for one year or more.

Guests will be treated to a cocktail reception with hors d’oeuvres, drinks, a sit down dinner and a silent auction. It will also give them a chance to pay tribute to their fellow businesspersons who won this prestigious award.

This is one of the most important networking events for local business leaders. It is very likely that most of those who plan to attend the awards celebration will be checking to see if they have enough business cards and that they contain current contact information. Those who find they are short will probably be placing a business card printing order with their favorite Ocoee printing company in the very near future.

The Big Orange Awards are being held at the Ocoee Lakeshore Center on February 6 from 6:00 – 9:00 PM. Tickets are $56 for West Orange Chamber of Commerce members and $66 for non-members; tables for eight are $450 and $530. To find out more about the event, contact K. Carney at 407-656-1304 or visit the Chamber’s website.
