Ocoee celebrates Easter at a family-friendly event

March 27, 2014 by

The City of Ocoee Parks and Recreation Department is hosting the annual Ocoee Easter Eggstravaganza this April.

The main event of the morning will be an egg hunt for children aged 12 and under. There will also be a chance to meet the Easter Bunny, arts and crafts activities, clowns, balloons, face painting, and inflatables. Food and refreshments will be available too.

Guests are askedto bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the food bank. It will be a fun way for the family to spend a Saturday morning and to get the kids in the mood for the Easter celebrations.

Leading up to this celebration is a coloring contest, for which pictures can be downloaded from the City of Ocoee website. The winners will be announced during the celebration and there will be prizes for children in every age group. In order to be considered, pictures must be submitted by April 17.

To help advertise annual events in Ocoee, local printing companies are often asked to provide marketing materials. This can include flyers, posters, and booklets, which can then be distributed for very little extra cost.

The Ocoee Easter Eggstravaganza will take place at the Jim Beech Recreation Center on April 19 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm. For more information, contact the City of Ocoee Parks and Recreation Department at 407-905-3180.
