The holidays are getting closer and two events in West Orange County this December will help families get in the mood to celebrate.

The Celebration of Voices is a popular event that is expected to draw at least 20,000 people. It will feature many winter activities such as ice skating and sleigh rides. Local school choirs and musical acts are performing live and children will be able to get their photograph taken with Santa Claus.

Later on in the month, Matthew’s Hope in Orlando will be holding the Family Christmas Carnival for homeless families in the area. There are expected to be carnival games, prizes and lots of free food. Of course, Santa will be on hand to have his picture taken with the boys and girls in attendance.

Matthew’s Hope also helps families providing them with Christmas gifts for the children. The organization also runs several other programs and services to help the homeless.

Both of these events will be highly advertised West Orange County, including Ocoee. When organizations put on public events they will often invest in services such as sign and flyer printing from local print companies.

The Celebration of Voices is taking place at the Celebration Town Center on December 7 from 5:00 – 11:00 PM. Admission is free. For more information visit the Town Center’s website.

The Family Christmas Carnival will be held at Matthew’s Hope on December 14 from 1:00 – 3:30 PM. Admission is also free. Call 407-905-9500 for more information.
