The Florida Association of Nonprofit Organizations, or FANO, is presenting the 21st Florida Nonprofit Conference at Deauville Beach Resort from August 27 – 28. Fees are $225 for FANO members and $325 for non-members, while tickets to the opening reception only are $35 for members and $20 for non-members.

The theme of this year’s conference is ‘Solid as a heart: passion, perseverance and purpose’. The opening reception will take place on August 27 from 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Wine and appetizers will be served and there will be musical entertainment. The conference itself will feature seminars on the topic of nonprofits, workshops, and the presentation of Lawton’s Heart Humanitarian Award. Keynote speakers for the conference will be Thomas Stokes III, Yves Mombeleur, and Renaldo Murray.

In addition, there will be a business expo taking place during the conference, where vendors pay between $795 and $1,500 to be able to display and sell their products and services. Sponsorships are also available from $1,000 to $5,000 and those involved will be recognized at the conference and in the program. No doubt brochure printers in the North Miami Beach and Miami Beach area will be helping the organizers of the conference to provide the program guide. Brochures are relatively inexpensive to produce and they provide those who attend an event with a free souvenir to take home. Program guides also remind those who read them of what was discussed at the conference and allow them to keep in mind the companies they discovered during the business expo.
