Enjoy Snowfest in North Miami Beach

The annual Snowfest is planned for North Miami Beach on December 10. The event will take place from 6-11 pm at the Gwen Margolis Amphitheater; it is sponsored by the North Miami Leisure Services Department. Admission is $5 per person.

While many people up north are already coping with winter weather and snow, here in North Miami Beach it’s still t-shirt weather. While that is great most times of the year, Christmas is a time when snow is required. That is where Snowfest comes to the rescue. There will be lots of winter-inspired activities to take part in at the Gwen Margolis Amphitheater.

North Miami Beach banner printing firms will probably have been busy creating decorations to make Snowfest feel more Christmassy. Banners are a low-cost way of sprucing up any event and making it seem all that more special.

The main draw of Snowfest is the snow mountain inside the amphitheatre. There will also be a rock climbing wall, a giant slide, bounce houses, carnival games and arts and crafts. Special holiday games such as the Grinch’s Grab Bag will entertain the kids. Children will also get the chance to write and send a letter to Santa. They can also get their pictures taken with Santa, Mrs. Claus and Frosty the Snowman. The Grinch will also be around somewhere, trying to spoil the fun. Food and refreshments will be available for purchase. Snowfest will also feature a live DJ, raffles and lots of prizes.
