Naples film festival celebrates independence

The 4th annual Naples International Film Festival (NIFF) will take place across four nights and will offer independent film-writers the change to be seen on the big screen by a wider audience.
It begins with an opening night film showing and party at the Naples Philharmonic Center for the Arts on November 1 from 7:00 pm – 12:00 am. Tickets for the film and reception are $159 or $29 just for the film. Cocktail attire is suggested. Those who attend the reception will get to walk the red carpet, enjoy some food and drinks, and meet the filmmakers. The film of choice will be the documentary ‘Honor Flight’.
The aim of the Naples International Film Festival is to celebrate independent film and filmmakers. It draws film fans from all over the country and throughout the Naples community. Several local companies are sponsoring the event, and others are still being sought.
No doubt organizers rely heavily on the services of local printing companies to prepare for this annual event. Not only do they depend on them to print and provide the tickets to the films, but also to help them promote the film festival in the community and around the country. Posters can be hung around the city, flyers can be mailed out or inserted in newspapers, catalogs listing the films showing at the festival can be distributed to various tourism offices or local malls, and banners can be hung at the various film venues to recognize the companies that are making the festival possible.
Ticket prices for films vary, so it would be advisable to visit the event’s website or call 239-597-1900 for further information.
