The Printing Association of Florida (PAF) has released the schedule of educational events for printing services professionals at the Graphics of the Americas exhibition.

The exhibition will take place in 2012 in Miami, from March 1-3. It will include education on a number of key areas for industry professionals, including different aspects of design, production, marketing, sales and management, with sessions taking place in both Spanish and English. According to George Ryan, President of the PAF:

“With technology rapidly changing and constantly being updated, our goal is to bring on the best presenters in the business speaking to hottest topics and trends at the time.”

The presentation schedule promises to be packed. Among the notable presentations on the first day are Corey Perlman’s seminar on building your business with LinkedIn (a good way to add value to your digital business cards ) and a session by Chad Chelius on printing services and creating PDFs. There are also sessions on design essentials which will help with poster printing, stationery printing, flyer printing and more. Day 2 is a good time to learn more about social media, QR codes, web graphics, color correction and workflow optimization. There is even more in-depth information on various aspects of web design on day 3.

The show will be attended by a wide range of professionals offering printing services (including commercial, digital and flexo printers), as well as specialty printers, converters and print buyers. Expected attendance is almost 10,000 from 90 countries, with some 60% of attendees from the US.
