Though the hamburger is a primary feature of fast food restaurants, the ever popular sandwich comes in many variations, and it can be readily found on menus at all types of restaurants around the world. Equally popular and coming in many variations of flavor is one of the world’s most celebrated beverages—beer. This year, 2012, the Miami Taste of Brickell Food and Wine Festival will bring together the sandwich and the beverage at the Inaugural Burger, Beer, and Balls Bash.

The event, which will take place on Saturday, August 4, from 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm, will be a fun-filled celebration of gourmet hamburgers, craft beers, and meatballs. At the event, some of the best restaurants in Dade County will present their unique variations of hamburgers and meatballs for a competition. This will be a great opportunity for burger-makers to brand their products or companies, as tourists far and wide, as well as local residents, will surely be present to sample the food and brews at the festival. Competitors present may want to invest in business card printing for networking and the further promotion of their products.

Located at 401 Brickell Avenue, one of Miami’s more wealthy and prestigious areas, the event will feature over 30 meatballs, over 40 craft beers, a burger-eating contest, and a live concert with performances by Jenny Love. The concert will also feature R&B music by the band Pocket Change; a group known for its high-energy funk, rock, Motown, and soul music.

All-inclusive tickets to the event may be purchased in advance for $65.00.
