High-end, artsy salon opens in Miami

The Wynwood Arts District, Miami’s premier center for the arts, acquired a new addition to its eclectic group of merchants. The Junior and Hatter salon recently opened in the Wynwood Building, one of the city’s most sought-after retail addresses.
The new salon has a chic, artistic interior design that is far from the traditional all-white salon. Reclaimed natural wood is a repeating design element along with copper, bronze and cast-iron finishes, creating a modern, bohemian atmosphere. The 1,100 sq. ft. space features many of the artwork that the owners have collected throughout their world travels.
Junior and Hatter offers a full array of hair styling for both men and women, as well as manicures, pedicures and polish changes. The owners hope to attract customers who appreciate the artistically cultivated service and setting they provide.
Opening a new company like Junior and Hatter requires an integrated marketing strategy, including promotional items such as poster printing which can be installed on storefront windows and inside the salon in the reception area and at the different stations. Catalog printing, showing many different styles and trends, can be casually displayed at a customer’s fingertips in the reception area and while sitting in the chair. Brochure printers can work with Junior and Hatter to create attractive, informative, inspiring material that a customer can take home or distribute to work colleagues, family and friends.
A salon like Junior and Hatter is a refreshing combination of hair, fashion and design that will add to Miami’s vibrant arts scene.
