Heidelberg UK has signed up to the Two Sides campaign. This campaign covers the responsible use and production of print and paper products, and will be of interest to Miami printing companies and others focused on environmental sound print businesses.
The campaign shows how print and paper are sustainable communications alternatives, while being practical and attractive at the same time. Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (Heidelberg) is a household name among providers of printing services, as it offers digital printing and offset printing services.
Managing director of Heidelberg Graphic Equipment Ltd Gerard Heanue says:
“Many of our customers greatly appreciate the campaign by Two Sides to counter the negative messages about print from ill-informed or misguided agencies by presenting the facts clearly and lobbying on behalf of our industry. If Two Sides can help ensure a ‘level playing field’ allowing printers to secure more business then this is going to be good for our customers and we are delighted to be able to support Two Sides in achieving this goal.”
Two Sides sees Heidelberg as a natural partner in this campaign thanks to the company’s history of fostering innovation in printing and its efforts to make print media more effective and attractive within a growing digital marketplace. Two Sides says Heidelberg is reducing the resource consumption of its print service products, resulting in a decrease in carbon emissions, other emissions and waste. According to director Martyn Eustace, the company focuses on environmental protection and sustainability in its activities and shows that print is still a key branding channel.
