Concert to entertain under the moonlit skies of Miami

An evening of fun and music awaits guests at the Barnacle Historic State Park, with the Barnacles Under Moonlight event coming up soon.

The Peter Betan Trio will be performing acoustic music under the moonlight, while patrons are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for lounging under the starry skies of Miami during the concert. Attendees can bring friends and a picnic to share in the night if desired, although pets and alcohol are forbidden.

Jazz, world music, and folk will be played during the relaxing evening. An eligibility chart on the park website provides rules for the concert, one of which is that attendees should be able to withstand the outdoors for two or more hours. In addition, trash and picnic remains must be removed before leaving the park. No rain date has been set, so patrons should bring waterproof clothing just in case.

Barnacle State Park is located in Coconut Grove at 3485 Main Highway, in Miami, Florida, and the casual concert begins at 7:00 pm and lasts until 9:00 pm on Friday, September 14. The gates will open at 6:00 pm, and admission price is $7 for anyone over ten years old. Children ages 6- 9 will be $3, and anyone under that age group will be admitted into the event without charge.

Print companies have probably completed banner printing for the park concert, as this is a good method of indicating details of an event. The Barnacle State Park website has more information or interest parties can call 305-442-6866.
