Networking opportunities open in Longwood

The Seminole County Regional Chamber of Commerce Longwood Council holds several networking events each month for members and non-members of the Chamber. While networking opportunities often decline during the summer months, the Longwood Council has two networking events planned for June.

The Summer Night’s Fun Networking Event will take place at Longwood Elementary School on June 14th from 5:30 – 7:30 pm. There will be plenty of time for business leaders to get to know each other and to exchange business cards.

The Longwood Master Mind Referral Group will also be meeting at the Longwood Community Building on June 28th from 7:30 – 9:00 am. This group meets on the fourth Thursday of each month and is for Chamber members only. This is a free event and members can bring their own breakfast.

Networking is one of the most important things a business leader can do. Without getting to know other business leaders in the community, a company really can’t expect to be able to grow their business. When many think of networking all they think about is exchanging business cards. However, there are other ways to let others know about a business. For example, Longwood brochure printers can provide a business person with a brochure or a flyer for a very low price that can list in detail what a company has to offer. This gives a little more information than can be listed on a 3×5 business card. Of course, for any networking event, business cards remain an essential part of any firm’s stationery printing order.
