Learn about the state of the County over lunch

The annual State of the County Luncheon will be held at the Orlando Marriott-Lake Mary on February 16 from 11:30 am-1:30 pm. The event is a presentation of the Seminole Board of County Commissioners. Tickets are $40 for Chamber members and $50 for non-members.

The event will be presented by Commission Chairman Brenda Carey. As the title suggests, those in attendance will learn about where Seminole County currently stands in terms of business, successes and opportunities. No doubt, they will also learn where they are going in the future and what exciting chances are available for local business and the economy. It will be of interest to all business leaders, Chamber members and elected officials.

There are also sponsorship opportunities for the State of the County Luncheon. Companies can purchase a silver sponsorship for $5,000 which will give them, among other things a table for 8 at the lunch and a display table. The display table can contain business cards, brochures, flyers or sample products. Brochure printers in Seminole County, including Longwood, can help design a brochure that will appeal to those in attendance and that will possibly bring more business to the County.

February seems to be the time when many organizations hold their annual meetings and when government officials give their “State of the Union” addresses. These types of events are important to local businesses. They help them to take a fresh look at their business and to find new ways to make it exciting to the general public.
