Vology, a managed IT service provider, is planning to expand in the city of Largo over the next two to four years in the Bay Vista Office Park.

A capital investment of $3.75m to create 60,000 square feet of space will also add 200 jobs to the city. It will enable the company to accommodate these additional employees and a new Network Operations Center.

City of Largo Mayor Woody Brown commented on his pride in supporting the company’s expansion in the Bay Vista office complex in Largo – one of the largest technology hotspots in the county. Vology will be helping to expand the local economy, add new jobs, and bring their capabilities to the community. It is hoped that their coming to the city will be an incentive for other high-tech companies to come to the city and grow the market.

Executive Director of the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity, Cissy Proctor, added that there is a talented workforce that Vology can count on, as well as a business-friendly environment and strong infrastructure in Florida that will fuel their growth.

The company currently has over 20,000 customer sites across the country where it manages more than 100,000 devices. It may soon need business card printing services to make sure its new employees over the next few years will be suitably equipped.
