The 5th annual Texas Hold ‘em Casino Night and Family Fun Day will take place at the St. Cloud Civic Center on February 11 beginning at 10 am. Admission is $5. Proceeds will go to support Special Olympics Florida and the Children’s Advocacy Canter for Osceola County.

The event is co-sponsored by the Kissimmee Police Department and the City of Kissimmee. The Family Fun Day will run from 10 am-6 pm and will feature live music, an obstacle course, clowns, face painting, magicians, a corn-hole tournament, live auctions and a “Dunk-a-Celebrity” booth.

The Texas Hold ‘em Tournament will begin at 4:30 pm; Kissimmee businesses can sponsor tables with plans ranging in price from $100-$1500. Printing companies will be providing all the event literature such as brochures and posters that will feature the logos and names of the sponsors, the sponsor’s name will also be laminated on the poker tables.

The Casino Night begins at 6:30 pm; sponsorships are also available for this event with prices ranging from $40-$1500; as with the poker tournament the sponsor’s logo and name will appear on all literature, posters and playing tables.

This event will be raising funds for two very worthy charities. The Special Olympics have done so much to raise the morale and confidence in the mentally handicapped and the Children’s Advocacy Center provides services for children who have been sexually and physically abused. Both of these organizations aim to produce future adults who are confident and able to withstand whatever life throws at them.
