Business and community figures have their heads in St. Cloud

An excellent way to finish the month should be with the 2012 awards banquet of the St. Cloud Greater Osceola Chamber of Commerce, taking place at the Barney E. Veal Center
The theme of this year’s banquet is Prom Night and semi-formal attire is required. In keeping with the theme, the room will be decorated to resemble a high school prom. It will feature cocktails, dinner, entertainment from the Rainbows End Orchestra, a silent auction, and a draw for a six-day Caribbean and Mexican cruise. Local businesses and chamber members are likely to be donating the items for the silent auction. The Chamber of Commerce awards will also be handed out during the evening. The awards presented will honor Chamber members, community leaders, and business professionals who have shown great leadership and commitment to the Greater Osceola area.
While this is primarily a social event, there will be plenty of time for networking amongst those attending. Those who are planning to attend from Kissimmee and the surrounding area will want to arrange for business card printing in advance of the awards banquet. A small stack of business cards – around 50 is usually the recommend number – can easily be placed in a jacket pocket or in a clutch purse for easy access during the evening.
The banquet will be held on September 29 beginning at 6:00 pm. Tickets are $65 or $575 for a table of eight and tickets must be ordered in advance. For more information, call the Chamber of Commerce at 407-892-3671.
