Jupiter art gallery debuts new art exhibit
December 17, 2013 by James
The Town of Jupiter Gallery of Art is debuting its latest exhibition this January, and will be showing at the gallery for six weeks.
In order to celebrate the opening of the exhibit, a reception will be held on its first day and is set to feature hors d’oeuvres, refreshments, and a musical performance by Joseph La Pierre.
The exhibit itself will feature the photography of Diane Capella, paintings by Joseph La Pierre, Jennifer Chaparro, and Carmen Chaparro and baskets created by Joan Stoneham.
The Gallery of Art was created as a place for local and regional artists to display a wide variety of art genres, including fine arts, crafts, photography, and sculpture. All the work displayed is available for purchase directly from the artists.
As always, the gallery is also looking for sponsors to help ensure its continued operation. Many local businesses can use this as a way to show their customers that they support the arts in their community. They might also help by letting them know about upcoming events by placing flyers into regular mailings. Often, Jupiter printing companies are asked to provide such products.
The Gallery of Art exhibition reception is taking place on January 10 at its location in the Jupiter Community Center from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Admission is free. The exhibition itself will be running until February 21. The gallery is open Monday to Saturday from 8:30 am. For more information, call Faye Schrecengost at 561-746-0378.
