Holiday Boat Parade and Celebration in Jupiter

November 10, 2011 by

The annual Holiday Boat Parade and Celebration will take place on December 3 at Riverwalk. This event is presented by the Town of Jupiter and the Marine Industry Association of Palm Beach County.

There will be a free parade viewing event at Events Plaza which will feature lots of bleachers, excellent food, great music and lots of fun for the whole family. It runs from 5 pm to 10pm; there will be a fireworks display at the end of the night. There will also be the chance to donate to the Toys for Tots charity drive and of course Santa Claus will make an appearence. The public will also have the chance to watch the boat parade from Sawfish Bay Park or Lighthouse Park.

Florida is known for holiday boat parades; anyone who has a boat is welcomed to join in the parade. Like all the boat parades, the Jupiter parade will feature boats of all sizes festooned for the holiday season with lights and decorations. Boats are also judged and their owners awarded prizes for things such as best lights, best decorations and best commercial boat.

For those planning to receive awards in the Jupiter Holiday Boat Parade and Celebration they have to start designing their boat theme now. Local printing companies can help by providing banners to help decorate your boat and they can also help you to design flyers so you can let your neighbors know to come and watch you.
