Fall networking season kicks off with golf

August 11, 2012 by

The 2012 Northern Palm Beach County Chamber of Commerce’s Golf Classic will take place at Frenchman’s Reserve Country Club on September 14 from 7:00 am – 2:00 pm. Fees are $200 for each individual, or $800 for a foursome. Lunch will take place from 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm at the Grande Clubhouse and those who do not wish to play golf can attend for $40 for chamber members and $50 for non-members.

All participating golfers will receive a gift bag, breakfast, and a barbecue lunch, which will be followed by awards. Sponsorships are available from $250 for a hole sponsor to $1,500 for the title sponsor. All will be allowed to donate a promotional item for the gift bag and will receive recognition at the event.

This will also be an excellent opportunity for chamber members and non-members to network with one another. The summer is a quiet time for networking when people are on holiday or taking it easier. Come September, life begins to get back to normal and business usually picks up again. Those from the Chamber’s area, including nearby Jupiter, who plan to attend the golf classic should definitely arrange for business card printing in advance. A stack of 50 or so business cards can easily be placed in a golf bag for easy access. There will be no hard sell on the golf course but there will be opportunities to exchange business cards during breakfast, lunch, or breaks in play.
