Classic cars cruise into Jupiter

Jupiter, Florida seems to really love its classic cars. There are several events held throughout the year in which residents show off their older model and much-loved vehicles. Several of these events are presented by South East Rods and Customs and there will be two such events in Jupiter this weekend.

On Saturday, November 3, the Main Street Cruise Classic Car Show will take place at the Abacoa Town Center, beginning at 5:00 PM. Cars manufactured on or before 1973 are eligible to take part in the show. Each owner pays a $5 registration fee to take part. In addition to the showing of the cars there will be live entertainment, access to several restaurants, and raffles. Beginning at 8:15, the cars will take place in a parade through downtown Jupiter.

The following day, Terry’s Old Dixie Cafe will be the location for another car show which will feature all makes and models. Drivers taking part will receive a 20% discount on whatever they buy at the cafe. In addition, there will be live musical entertainment and prizes to be won.

For more information on either or both of these events, call 561-753-3279.

Both of these events sound perfect for those in the community who love their vehicles and who value classic cars. No doubt the organizers will be working with Jupiter printing companies to get the word out to the community about these two events. Flyers, which are relatively inexpensive, could be designed, printed, and distributed throughout the community, perhaps including local car associations.
