Annual art festival returns to Jupiter

February 23, 2014 by

The 26th annual Art Fest by the Sea will be taking place in Jupiter over two days next month. The festival is hosted by the Northern Palm Beach County Chamber of Commerce.

The outdoor art festival is expected to feature more than 300 artisans who will be selling a variety of arts and crafts. Those who are already confirmed for the festival will be selling items such as paintings, jewelry, prints, glass sculpture, photographs and even handmade calligraphy/signs. It is a good opportunity for the public to find some beautiful works of art to take home with them, and for those artisans to get some exposure to the public and to their peers.

Currently, organizers are still looking for volunteers to work in roles like greeting, soda and beer selling, and shuttle bus driving.

In order to draw more attention to their booths, it is possible that some of the artisans will be asking Jupiter printing companies to provide services such as sign and banner printing to help. A large colorful banner, or a sign hung over a booth, can draw people from a distance and might result in more sales.

The event will take place on Juno Beach from March 8 – 9 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm each day. Admission is free. For more information, or to volunteer, call 561-746-6615.
