Zoobilee spends second year in Jacksonville
December 9, 2013 by James
The Zoolights Zoobilee is coming around this weekend, celebrating its second year with an evening program for all ages. The organizers may have used multiple printing services to promote this sparkling family event to people in this community and in the surrounding area.
Locals are encouraged to come out and enjoy the Zoolights from within their sparkling winter forest and a totally illuminated zoo with sculptured animals, thousands of great holiday lights, local artisan’s work, live entertainment, skating, and a visit with Mr. and Mrs. Claus. This evening event features a delicious dinner, some tasty cocktails, a variety of crafts, many animal encounters, and a chance to bring friends and co-workers to an evening where they will learn and enjoy all the treasures hidden at the zoo and in its gardens.
Tickets to this event need to be purchased in advance and there is free parking in the lot. Parents are reminded to bring their cameras and take some great shots of the children having fun and visiting Santa.
Tickets for this event cost $50 per adult, $25 per child over the age of three, and children under three are admitted free. The Zoolights Zoobilee will be happening on Sunday, December 15, from 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm at the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens located at 370 Zoo Parkway in Jacksonville, Florida. To learn more about this event or to purchase tickets, please visit the Jacksonville Zoo and Garden’s website or call Lucas Meers, the development coordinator, at 904-757-4463, extension 196.
