Make plans to visit Graphics of America

The 2012 Graphics of the America conference and trade show will take place at the Miami Beach Convention Center from March 1-3. Tickets are $399 for full-access to the convention, $175 for three sessions, $75 for individual sessions and $299 for full-access to all Spanish sessions.

Graphics of America 2012 (GOA2012) is sponsored by the Printing Association of Florida and covers every aspect of the printing and graphics industries. This yearly event attracts those in the printing services industry from around the world; most, however, are from the United States including all areas of Florida such as Jacksonville. Those drawn to the event include printers, designers and other graphics industry professionals.

GOA2012 will feature a trade show where those attending can view the latest products and services available to the graphics industry. Specific areas in the trade show include the Direct-to-Garment Center which will demonstrate the latest in digital garment decoration, a Wide Format Print Shop and a Vehicle Wrap Center; there will also be a competition called the Vehicle Wrap Cup where professionals will compete for glory and to be crowned “FESPA Wrap Cup Champion of the Americas”.

There will also be several workshops and seminars, including several in Spanish. There will be both free and paid seminars; free seminars include “Color Management” and “Maximizing Efficiencies through Automation”. The paid seminars include such topics as “How to Calibrate and Profile Your Display for Soft Proofing” and “Graphic Secrets for Creative Pros.”

Graphics of America 2012 will also allow those in the graphics and printing industries to grow their referral networks and to be introduced to the latest trends in the industry.
