Get ready for the Ultimate TEALgate party

Mayor Brown of Jacksonville has declared December 5 Ultimate TEALgate Day in honor of the Jacksonville Jaguars appearance on Monday Night Football; the team will be facing off against the San Diego Chargers. There will be lots of activities for local sports fans to take part in both outside EverBank Field stadium and at various locations downtown beginning at 5:30 pm.
In the stadium, the pre-game show will feature a stunt by Jaxson de Ville and the singing of the national anthem by Josh Gracin. The half-time show will feature the BMX stunt bike group “Hell on Wheels” which will feature flames and pyrotechnics. Bands will be playing outside the stadium all night.
The TEALtown Fan Experience will take place at Pepsi Plaza. There will be lots of interactive activities such as an obstacle course, a gridiron skills challenge, high jump and various inflatables. A Dave Matthews tribute band will entertain the fans as will the Jaguars D-Line. There will be autograph signings by former Jaguars players, an appearance by Jaxson de Ville and sideline passes to be won. ESPN’s Monday Night Football Countdown will be broadcast on a large screen. There will also be face painting available, temporary tattoos, food, beverages and a roaming prize patrol. For those wishing to attend the game there will be shuttle bus service available for $12.
There will also be information booths set up by local radio stations, the Jaguars and EverBank. Printing companies in Jacksonville most like have provided a variety of items to be given away to the public such as bumper stickers, posters and informational brochures.
