The Hotel Hollywood, a Quality Inn & Suites hotel, based in Hollywood, Florida has recently undergone major renovations to its guest rooms, converting simple hotel rooms into spacious suites that are also environmentally friendly. The rooms have been upgraded to include luxury ling- and queen-sized beds, microwaves, refrigerators, digital television with 70 channels, players for DVD’s, CD’s and music and high-speed Internet access. To make tourists and visitors aware of the major renovations and upgraded amenities, the Quality Inn & Suites Hollywood Hotel is using a variety of printing services to create updated brochures to distribute to travel agents and sending out to previous customers encouraging them to make a return trip for the winter season.
According to Izzy Fintz, the general manager of the Hotel Hollywood, the undertaking of the renovations was designed to improve accommodations for guests and increase its popularity as a major cruise port hotel in South Florida.
The Hotel Hollywood is also known for its prime location situated between Miami and Fort Lauderdale, offering shuttle service to and from the cruise port in Port Everglades and to and from the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. General Manager Fintz points out that for those who are not planning a cruise or travelling to other locations, that there are many area attractions that would interest tourists. These include South Beach, the BankAtlantic Center which is the home of the Florida Panthers, golf courses, several well-known museums, Sun Life Stadium which is the home of the Miami Dolphins, a wide variety of shopping, and the Broward County Convention Center.
