June 26, 2013 by

The 3rd annual South Florida Business and Leadership Conference is taking place in Fort Lauderdale this weekend.

The conference, which is presented by the Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship, will be a good learning opportunity for local business leaders, regardless of their industry.

The conference fees will include lunch, workshops, a business expo, and a networking reception. A plenary session will be hosted by Doug Tatum from The Co-Investment Partnership. Selected topics that will be covered in breakout workshops will be Cut through the Noise – Online Marketing Best Practices, Capital & Funding For Growth, Answers to Leadership, and Saving Green – Tips to Increase your Cash Flow.

The workshops are designed to provide advice to anyone, regardless of their level of expertise. The business expo section of the conference will give local businesses the chance to showcase their products and services and to help increase their referral networks with their peers.

The conference should attract business leaders from all over South Florida including nearby Hialeah. Many of those planning to attend will probably be placing a business card printing order in advance of attending. The conference will allow for several networking opportunities amongst business peers, meaning that no one will want to run out of cards.

The South Florida Business and Leadership Conference will take place at the Urban League of Broward County on June 29 from 11:00 am – 6:00 pm. Tickets are $25 each. For more information, contact Jennifer Brin Kovach at 954-228-3082.
