Greater Miami Chamber has a well-rounded February schedule
February 10, 2012 by Mark
The Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce has a full February ahead of it and between the award dinner and insightful presentations being offered; business owners can have their pick of events this month.
As a starting point, the Business Innovation Institute will be giving a presentation called ‘Growth by Mastery of Social Media’. With the development of digital business cards and online networking groups, there’s no denying how the Internet and social media have changed the way business is done. Going through lunch with networking and registration beginning at 11:30 am, attendees can enjoy lunch while gleaning valuable information from this event.
Following the social media workshop, businesspeople will be able to sign up for and attend ‘Inspiring Green Ideas’ on the 24th. At this meeting, winners of the Sustainable South Florida Awards are going to be discussing the ways in which their companies have been able to go greener. Coming at a cost of $15 for Chamber members and $25 for non-members, this early morning event is another opportunity for local entrepreneurs and managers.
Even with these two events being considered a part of the calendar, the month culminates in the Sand in My Shoes Award Dinner. The chamber has invited business people to come out and acknowledge the accomplishments of an individual who has shown a commitment to the community as a whole.
No matter what type of event Hialeah professionals are looking to attend, the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce has something for everyone. Consider registering and putting in an appearance.
