Easter celebration returns to Hialeah

March 26, 2014 by

The annual City of Hialeah Easter Egg-Stravaganza is returning to the city in a few weeks, presented by the Special Events Office.

This event will feature the largest egg hunt in South Florida, with more than 50,000 eggs hidden in the park for children to find. There will also be live entertainment indoors, which will be provided by students from various schools, area dance academies, and the Goodlet Theater Cultural Program. There is also set to be a children’s zone, which will have rides and inflatables. A wristband can be purchased and will provide unlimited rides throughout the day.

The Easter Bunny will also make several appearances during the day and children can have their picture taken with him inside the Goodlet Theater; there will be a nominal charge for this. Food and refreshments will be available for purchase as well.

Organizers of this popular annual event may choose to decorate the park and the theater with products purchased from Hialeah banner printing companies. Colorful banners can help to highlight certain areas, list those who will be performing, and add to the excitement of the day.

The Easter Egg-Stravaganza will take place at Goodlet Park on April 19 from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm. Admission is free. To learn more about the event, contact the Communications and Special Events Office at 305-889-5701.
