Major events happening at Ft. Lauderdale Chamber

March 14, 2012 by

Whether a Ft Lauderdale professional is looking to acquire new contacts or to do a bit of self-promotion, the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce is making things happen.

On March 15th “Party with Purpose” is going to be taking place. Although it takes the appearance of a regular networking event with food, drinks, and chances to engage other businesspeople, this particular meet-up is different in that the proceeds are going towards a worthy cause in the Ann Storck Center. Going from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm, attendees will have plenty of time to converse and exchange business cards. Those who are interested in coming are being asked to phone in to RSVP.

Where the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber is concerned, the headline of the month will be taking place a week later on the 22nd with 2012’s “Downtowner of the Year”. Starting at 11:30 am and being presented by none other than the Downtown Council, members of the business community are invited to come and be a part of this event. Speakers for this year’s event include Mayor Jack Seiler and several noted professionals in Justin Sayfie, Bill Scherer, and Gale Butler among others.

Most notable however, is the fact that there are still sponsorship opportunities available. With available spots coming with flyer printing logo space and acknowledgement during the event and on promotional material and brochures, this is a real chance to get some exposure. Contact the chamber to inquire into either “Party with a Purpose” or “Downtowner of the Year”.
