The topics of the two lectures will be “Social media and technology for nonprofits” and “Branding for nonprofits.”
Non-profit companies face unique challenges which they need to overcome to become truly successful. Social media is becoming important to all businesses. Sites such as Facebook offer a great opportunity for non-profit companies to interact with customers and clients free of charge. The cash outlay is limited to Internet access and computer equipment. When many people are looking for information about a company, the first place they turn to is the Internet. It is in every company’s best interest to have a company page on Facebook, as it makes direct marketing easier and more effective. Branding of a company is also very important, since having a set identity makes the company look more professional and people are more willing to do business with them.
Direct marketing is a one-on-one method using such tools as direct mail, email, telemarketing, and a catalog. Printing companies in Fort Lauderdale can help provide ideal products for direct marketing such as flyers and brochures.
