Ft. Lauderdale springs into autumn

The Ft. Lauderdale Riverwalk is looking to help residents celebrate the changing of the seasons with its Second Annual Fall Festival. The afternoon event will be filled with games, food, competition, and entertainment.

The celebration is a family and pet friendly affair, welcoming people from many different walks of life to come together and join in on some fall-themed carnival games. Live music will be provided for the duration of the event by the School of Rock of Coral Springs and the School of Rock of Broward. The afternoon will also have many different types of crafts, as well as face painting and a few friendly competitions.

Additionally, food trucks and vendors will be at the festival, selling food and a variety of different goods, from locally made arts and crafts, to gift items. Entrepreneurs interested in becoming a vendor can download business forms off the event’s website. Purchasing a vendor space includes a marketing package that guarantees a mention in the monthly newsletter printing as well as direct advertising via flyers for the event. Vendor spaces begin at $125.

The Fall Festival will be held on September 24 from 12:00 to 4:00 pm in Esplanade Park, located in downtown Ft Lauderdale. Admission is free to the public. Anyone interested in more information, or becoming a vendor or volunteer, should visit the website.
