Ft. Lauderdale shares short stack with Santa

December 5, 2016 by

Families in the Ft. Lauderdale region are looking forward to Breakfast with Santa. The morning event combines a meal with holiday activities all centered around Jolly Ol’ Saint Nick.

The traditional pancake breakfast will include eggs and sausage, as well as a choice of fruits or syrups to top the pancakes. In addition to sharing breakfast with Santa Claus, guests will be able to take photos with him the whole morning, providing a picture to include with holiday cards. The jolly man will also share a story with the children in the audience, gathering them in a circle to tell one of his favorite holiday tales.

Aside from the food and stories, visitors will also be able to participate in several activities at the breakfast. Bounce houses will be set up and pony rides will be offered, though some size and weight restrictions may limit who gets to share in the fun. Face painting and some small crafts will also be offered, giving younger attendees a little souvenir to take home with them.

Breakfast with Santa will be held on December 17 from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon at the Hagen Park Community Center, located at 2020 Wilton Dr. Admission is $5 for children under 12 and $7 for adults if ordering before December 9 and $10 for both thereafter. Anyone looking for more info should visit the website.
