Residents in Ft. Lauderdale are eagerly anticipating the arrival of Burger Battle VIII. The competition pits local burger restaurants against one another to see who is the best of them all.

A total of 16 eateries will be competing in a tournament judged by local gourmands, including Burger Craze, Pincho Factory, Tucker Duke’s, and BRGR Stop. The top-rated burger will receive a trophy and bragging rights for the next year, as well as a special seal that can be added to their marketing materials. Visitors to the competition will also be able to vote for the Fan Favorite, which will receive a special award as well.

Guests to the battle will get 16 burger samples, three drinks, and access to the French fry bar. VIP tickets include unlimited samples, specialty food samples, and a fully open bar along with special seating. Businesses can also choose to pay for a Slider Sponsorship, which includes 10 VIP tickets as well as space for hanging banners at the event and for adding their logo design to the website.

Burger Battle VIII will take place on May 20 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Huizenga Plaza, located at 32 E. Las Olas Blvd. Admission costs $45 for general admission, $125 for VIP, and $1,250 for a Slider Sponsorship. Anyone looking for more information should visit the website.
