Fort Lauderdale offers show for hunters

Over the weekend of June 16 – 17, the Fort Lauderdale Gun Show, a favorite for local enthusiasts and hunters, will take place at the War Memorial Auditorium located at 800 N. E. 8th Street in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This show will run Saturday from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm and gets underway at 10:00 am on the Sunday.

This is one of Florida’s largest gun and knife shows and there will be something at the show for anyone interested in learning more about any hunting products. From across the state, dealers and collectors will be exhibiting their wares at this showcase event. There will be a large selection of accessories, guns, knives, and difficult to find items. Guests are permitted to bring guns to the show for appraisal purposes only, but they may also bring guns and other accessories that are to be sold or traded.

When guests enter the show, they must pass through security, which will be monitored by an expert. All guns brought to the show will be tagged by security to prohibit them from firing and must be unloaded prior to entering the show. As there are often children and non-experts around, safety is treated as a priority by the organizers, who will eject those who do not comply by the rules.

Flyer printing and banner printing may have been used to promote this large show to the public. There is an $8 admission fee for adults and kids under 12 are free, although they must be accompanied by an adult.
