Tonight’s the night for evening cruise

Folks in the area can take a party cruise this evening aboard the South Beach Lady berthed at the Bayside Marina known for its shops, restaurants and bars.
Boarding takes place at 6:00 pm and the ship will depart at 6:30 pm, returning at 9:00 p.m. The cruise will feature a live DJ, cash bar, and incredible views of the city from the ocean.
While the parents are enjoying the cruise, students can get a head start on their education by studying for the SAT and ACT tests.
Students who attend should bring a pencil, calculator, and Living Social voucher. The tutoring will include a practice SAT or ACT test and either two or four hours of tutoring. The tests are important for students applying for college.
The SAT test is 3 hours and 45 minutes long and includes 11 different testing sections on the subjects of reading, writing, and math. It is designed to evaluate a student’s ability to reason and predict how they will perform their first year in college.
The ACT measures a student’s curriculum skills in the subjects of math, science, English, and reading and is probably more of an indicator of their college readiness. Students do not have to take both tests for college.
All types of testing materials can be created and duplicated at a local printing company.
