The official holiday season kicks off in Doral with a park and tree lighting ceremony later today in downtown Doral Park.
From 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, the park will be filled with holiday cheer, music, displays, arts and crafts, and the presence of Santa Claus, who will be available for pictures.
The park is located at 8395 North West 53rd Street, Doral, and guests could consider taking pictures for holiday postcards, which can be printed at a local printing company.
There is a chance to continue the yuletide fun on Friday, December 6 when piles of snow are delivered to J. C. Bermudez Park, 3000 North West 87th Street, for a family friendly event that includes, games, rides, and performances by local students and businesses.
Santa Claus will once again be available for pictures, and will also be at the Ronald Reagan Doral Senior High School for breakfast on Saturday, December 7, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.
Breakfast will be continental and is available for both the children and their parents. Face painters and story tellers will be on hand to entertain participants, and there will be arts and crafts to complete as well.
Tickets are $7 per person, and children aged two and younger are free. Pictures with Santa will be available for purchase. Tickets are on a ‘first come’ basis and can be bought at Morgan Levy Park. The high school is located at 8600 North West 107th Avenue in Doral.
