Delray Beach Chamber hosts networking event

April 2, 2012 by

As is expected for many members, the Greater Delray Beach Chamber of Commerce has managed to put together a series of events that manage to successfully combine networking, learning, and celebration. Consequently, both residents and local professionals will have every opportunity to have a productive April.

The fun begins fairly early with the Chairman’s Club Monthly Luncheon taking place on the 11th. Through this group, members of the business community have the option of networking with other high level executives. During this month’s meeting, attendees will be hearing from Anne Gannon, Palm Beach County’s Constitutional Tax Collector.

She’ll be giving an update on the latest developments and will also be fielding questions after her presentation. No matter what industry they operate in, company decision makers stand to gain a lot by becoming a member of this group. Although these meetings are invitation only, the professional contacts alone make it worthwhile.

For professionals who aren’t necessarily a part of the Chairman’s Club, “Contacts & Cocktails” is hosting an event the following day on the 12th. Starting in the evening at 5:15pm and expected to end over an hour later at 7:00pm, business owners have the opportunity to interact with one another in a laid-back setting.

With Mellow Mushroom providing the food, there’s also no question that the meal is going to be worthwhile. Priced at $10 for members who pay ahead of time and $15 at the door, this event is also open to non-members at a price of $35.

Whichever meet-up an individual’s attending, it can’t hurt to bring a good supply of business card printing along.
