Two separate events to celebrate Coral Springs birthday this July

June 9, 2013 by

The City of Coral Springs is celebrating its 50th anniversary on July 10, and a couple of events will allow people of all ages to celebrate this milestone.

Campalooza is hoping to break a Guinness world record for the number of people participating in a session of Zumbatomic – a dance-fitness program for kids. The event is open to children aged 5 to 15. In addition to the workout, there will be snacks, refreshments, and birthday cake to celebrate Coral Springs’ anniversary.

Later in the day, a block party will be taking place on 94th Avenue, which more than 2,500 people are expected to attend. Local restaurants and food vendors will be selling samples of their food. There will also be two stages of musical entertainment, refreshments, Radio Disney activities and games, prizes, and a DJ. In addition, there will be plenty of free birthday cake and ice cream for everyone.

Coral Springs print companies have likely been called upon by the organizers of each event to help them prepare. This might include providing services like sign and banner printing to recognize the sponsors of the events.

Campalooza will take place at the Coral Springs Gymnasium on July 10 beginning at 11:00 am, and participants are asked to register in advance. The City of Coral Springs 50th anniversary block party will take place on the same day from 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm and is free to attend.
