Coral Springs event to help out local pet rescue groups

The 4th annual ‘Art 4 the Animals’ event is taking place in Coral Springs for one day this December. The event will benefit local shelters and pet rescue organizations.

Local students and artists donate works of art to be sold to the public at the event, which include photographs, paintings, jewelry, sculpture, and stained glass creations. Over 25 shelters and rescue groups will be on hand and visitors will have the chance to adopt pets or to learn more about what these organizations do to help animals in the community.

Other activities taking place are set to include a pet fashion show, an agility demonstration, a classic car show, and a K-9 Unit demo. DJ Jimmy will also be playing music throughout the day to entertain the crowd.

Local merchants are expected to donate a number of items that will be raffled off at the event. This often leads to them hiring Coral Springs printing companies to provide them with printed materials that they will send out to their customers as in insert in a regular mailing to show that they are supportive of local causes.

Art 4 the Animals is taking place at the corner of Royal Palm Boulevard and University Drive on December 8 from 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm, and there is no charge to attend. Those interested in finding out more about the day’s events should contact Adriana Mattei at 754-368-1476 or Barbara Cooper at 954-575-1231.
