Networking extravaganza will help raise funds for charity

Guests purchase tasting tickets to enjoy a variety of finger foods during the event and can even compete in a cooking contest. Local businesses are encouraged to donate a gift basket or gift card of $50 or more for prizes in the cooking contest.
The event will also feature a 50/50 draw, a silent auction, and a Christmas decoration boutique. Guests are asked to donate Christmas decorations, which will be sold for low cost. They are also encouraged to donate gifts for needy seniors in the area.
A professional networking table will also be set up at which guests can display their business cards and up to two brochures or booklets on the table for $5 in advance or $10 on the day. No doubt many Brandon businesspersons who are planning to attend will be placing a new business card printing order in advance.
The event will not only be a great opportunity for local business leaders to network with one another, it will also raise funds for a very worthwhile charity.
The Winter in July Funfest will take place at Savannah Court on July 2 from 2:00 pm- 6:00 pm. Tickets for the 50/50 draw are $1 per ticket. Tasting tickets are $10 for 30 in advance or $5 for 12 at the door. For more information about the event, contact Grace Terry at 727-487-3207.
