Charity ball makes time for toys
November 24, 2013 by Max
The 2nd annual Brandon Holiday Charity Ball is taking place in nearby Riverview this December, presented by Way 2 Dance.
The event will feature an exhibition from Way 2 Dance, a sit down dinner, and a chance for guests to bust some moves to a DJ. There will also be a red carpet entrance with photographers, a silent auction with prizes, and cash bar. Recommended dress is black tie for men and semi-formal for women.
All proceeds from the event will go to benefit the US Marine Corps Reserve Foundation Toys for Tots program. Last year’s event raised $17,349 for the organization. The program, which has been in operation since 1995, has helped millions of disadvantaged children enjoy the holidays through the distribution of toys.
Sponsorships are available from $150 to $1,000, and all sponsors will be recognized in signage at the event or on the event flyer. Local business and individuals are also encouraged to donate items to the silent auction. When preparing for such events in Brandon, organizers will often invest in suitable promotional products from local printing companies.
The Brandon Holiday Charity Ball is being held at The Regent on December 12 from 6:30 pm – 10:30 pm. Tickets are $40 each or $275 for a table of eight until November 30. Those who wish to attend are advised to move quickly, as limited tickets are available.
