Art festival highlights Hyde Park Village

The 24th annual Hyde Park Village Art Fair is being held this weekend and marks a presentation of Howard Alan, an organization that hosts a variety of art festivals throughout Florida each year.

The fair is expected to attract up to 150 exhibitors who will be selling a variety of works of art, with life-sized sculptures, jewelry, photographs, and original prints likely to be among the wares for sale. In addition, there will be an art giveaway. This year’s art is ‘Red Palms in the Sunset’ by Lane which is price at approximately $600, and the winning ticket will be drawn at 4:00 pm on the last day of the fair.

It should offer a good event for those who are interested in learning about the art community in Tampa, and allow them to find an original work of art for themselves or a friend. It also brings attention to the stores and restaurants of Hyde Park Village and could benefit those businesses in terms of extra customers.

The exhibitors will no doubt hail from all over the Tampa area, including nearby Brandon. They might want to invest in services such as sign and banner printing from local print companies. This will make their booths more attractive and likely encourage more people to stop buy and buy an item.

The Hyde Park Village Art Fair is taking place this Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm each day, and is free to attend. To find out more about the event, call 561-746-6615.
