Aquatic adventure comes to Brandon

August 31, 2012 by

Dash & Splash 2012 will soon be taking place at the Brandon Sports and Aquatic Center (BSAC) and admission is free for spectators. Fees vary for those taking part in the various races.

All proceeds from the event will help to support the Brandon Sports and Aquatic Center’s programs, so printing companies in Brandon will no doubt be helping to provide the necessary literature being used to advertise this worthwhile event, with flyer printing probably one of the most heavily used to encourage people to either take part or come along and watch.

The event consists of a run a swim. Adults can partake in either an individual competition or as part of a relay team, while the children’s event invites young applicants across two different age groups. For a full breakdown of all these competitions, their total distances, and the costs to take part, potential applicants would be best advised to visit the BSAC website or Brandon’s site.

Awards will be given to the top three adult male and female racers, the top male and female relay team, and the top three children in each age group. In addition to the fees, participants solicit pledges from their friends and family.

With the races set to run on September 9 from 7:30 am – 10:00 am, this is just one of the way in which The Brandon Sports and Aquatic Center provides fitness and health programs for both children and adults. It also seeks donations to help pay the annual fees of those who cannot afford them.
