The popular Delray Affair event returning to area for 51st year

The Delray Affair is a festival taking place in Delray Beach every April, and it is about to return for its 51st year.
The festival is an annual presentation of the Greater Delray Beach Chamber of Commerce. Ten city blocks are closed off to traffic from Swinton Avenue to the Intercostal Waterway. The festival features a variety of street performers and musicians, food vendors, live musical performances at Veteran’s Park, amusement rides, souvenirs for sale, sponsors’ booths, arts and crafts vendors, and business exhibits. There will be something to appeal to every member of the family by the sound of things.
Over 800 artists and crafters are expected to take part in this year’s show. They come from all over the country to showcase and sell items like jewelry, pottery, photographs, and works of art. Fees for 10×10 foot booths are $320 for chamber members and non-profit organizations and $550 for non-members, while 10×20 foot booths are $840 for all.
It is very likely that some of the vendors taking part in the festival will be working with print companies from the area to prepare. A flyer might be designed and printed to spread word of the festival throughout the area including, nearby Boca Raton. Non-profit organizations might also want to work with area brochure printers to provide informational literature to those who stop by their booth.
The Delray Affair will take place in Downtown Delray Beach from April 5 – 7. Admission is free and free shuttle buses are available. For more information, contact Nancy at 561-279-0907.
