Boca Raton youngsters and parents to enjoy spring celebration

April 1, 2017 by

The South Florida Parenting Magazine will be presenting its annual Spring Festival & Egg-A-Palooza in a few days.

A scavenger hunt, live entertainment on the stage, face painting, and a bunny hospital will be under the large canopy. That area will also have a bunny meet and greet, kids’ arts, and crafts and balloon artists. Exhibitors, including local businesses, will be passing out flyers with information about their goods and services, distributing promotional products, and holding interactive games.

The ongoing egg hunt will be outside the amphitheater, and the eggs will contain treats and prizes. Children can also jump in a couple of bounce houses, tackle an obstacle course, and scale the rock climbing walls. Local sports teams will be featured during the day, and food trucks will be on hand to sell the usual fare.

Guests can bring blankets to spread on the ground in order to have something to sit on.

The festivities will be Sunday, April 9 from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm at the Mizner Park Amphitheater at 590 Plaza Real, Boca Raton. The admission fee will be $8 per person – cash only – and can be purchased at the entrance only on the day of the event. Babies under 18 months can get in free. The festival will happen rain or shine, and parking will be free.
