Boca Raton professionals have plenty of choices

Whether looking into the possible uses of digital business cards , working out an emergency plan for the company, or an opportunity to get involved with the community, Boca Raton professionals can have their choice of events.

On March 6th, Florida Atlantic University will be hosting a Social Media Technology Forum. Starting early at 8:30 am and concluding at 10:30 am, this is an event that’s been designed to accommodate the schedules of busy professionals. The Chamber of Commerce website promotes the event this way:

“Social Media Technology Forum: Understanding Social Media and how to use it every day in your business.

What types of Social Media tools are Social Media tools are most critical to use in everyday business practices and why?
How much time, budget and resources should be allocated to Social Media within a your business?
How would you measure the results of your Social Media efforts?” (sic.)

Since there are no costs to attend, all business owners need to do is RSVP.

Another meeting to watch for is the AT&T Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Forum on March 7th. Taking place in Hallandale Beach, business owners are invited to come and see how partnering with AT&T allows companies to be ready for anything.

In the meantime, the Boca Raton Bobcats will be taking a different approach to fundraising by holding its “1st Annual Golf Tournament and Dinner” on the 10th. Featuring a silent auction as well as lunch and some friendly competition, tickets are going for $45. Those looking to have a little bit of fun can’t go wrong signing up for this one.
