Show off your wares at the business expo luncheon
February 4, 2012 by Mark
The Armory Learning Arts Center holds a business expo luncheon on the third Thursday of every month; the next event will take place on February 16 from 11 am-2 pm. Admission is free.
The Business Expo Luncheon includes a complimentary lunch, door prizes which were donated by businesses in attendance, networking and the chance to shop at vendor’s tables. Vendors will be selling various products and services and will be providing information on those products and services to interested parties.
The main premise of the event is definitely networking between Montgomery business peers. Make sure to arrange for extra business card printing so that you have enough to hand out to everyone who asks; you might also want to practice your “elevator speech.’ You can also arrange for brochure printing in advance; those who might not buy from you on the day of the luncheon will then be able to take away the information and share it with others. A brochure is very portable and light and easy to stick in a suit pocket or into a purse. You might also want to provide gift bags that feature your company’s logo and contact information. Arranging for the printing of freebies such as pens and fridge magnets with your company name are other ways to spread the word. Whatever you do, the aim is to get your company’s name out there and to help to grow your referral network. Without a decent referral network your company cannot move to the next level of success.
